COUNSELING APPROACHES

My work is based on multiple approaches including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). I have experience with a wide age range of clients which include individual, group, and family therapy. I also implement a strengths-based approach which emphasizes an individual and/or family self-determination and strengths while collaborating with the counselor to create change and accomplish goals.

My counseling style is both educational and therapeutic. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment which promotes self-awareness, empowerment, growth, and change.
